Operator. Plumber. Ninja. Rock Star. This kid collects job titles the way other guys collect speeding tickets. He showed up with a dream of becoming something more, and somewhere along the way he became the guy everyone fights over for their crew.
He doesn’t just make a jobsite look good — he makes it look like we knew what we were doing the whole time. He’s always in the right place at the right time, which is either impressive situational awareness or he’s got the schedule bugged. He doesn’t say much, but somehow he already knows what you need before you ask — must be reading minds, because he sure isn’t reading it off a script. At this point I’m convinced he’s part psychic, part plumber, and part show-off.
Calling him a fast learner is like calling the ocean “a bit damp.” Honestly, if he ever decides he wants my job, I’ve got about twelve months before I’m updating my resume.
I have never once heard this man complain. Give him the worst news of his day and he comes back with “Thank you, Mr. Mike!” like you just handed him a bonus. It’s borderline suspicious.
We’re thrilled to have Luis as part of the MBX family, and frankly a little scared of what happens when he figures out he could run this place better than we do. Here’s hoping he sticks around a long, long time.
